This website was born out of a need to engage in dialogue on various topics. I also needed a place for creativity. I am a mother, from Parainen, and I live in Sápmi. I work in communications and journalism.

Northern Sámi language is a personal and professional matter for me. It is also a way of life. Northern Sámi is the language of our home. I write about social issues, science, and everyday life. I am interested in communication and technology, cultural understanding, and the status of indigenous peoples.

My most recent work has involved familiarizing myself with broad current phenomena and events. In my news podcast Dieđagáldu, I answer five questions on one of these topics based on researched information. I also produce radio inserts in Northern Sámi for Yle Sámi’s Binna Bánna. By nature, I am curious—just like you, perhaps.
